Art and computer games are two things I love with a passion, so it makes perfect sense for me to want to work in the games industry for a living.  I'm just an ordinary guy who gets along with people easily, even if its people who don't have the same interests as I have.  I remember being in art college and we all along exceptionally well with class mates, because we all had something to talk about each day besides the usual who beat who in the Premiership and the Champions League the other night.

My goal is to someday work in the games industry as an artist or modeller. I've been designing games since I was ten. I'm twenty now and the way in which games are made has changed completely over those ten years. Its an exciting and innovative industry, I want to be a part of it.

I'm not up to the standard of the top artists out there, but I'm learning all the time and I've a long way to go yet before I reach my best.  Still, I know I'm getting better as I grow older.  When I look at my older work I can see the flaws in them, while at the time I thought my work looked great.  Emailing game companies and not getting a reply from them is disheartening, but when people like Dave Perry and Doug Chiang write back it gives me the inspiration to keep doing what I do.

Also, when people I've worked with on a game project get work in the industry it really shows that joining the industry is within my reach.  Not to mention, looking at so many games out there with poor graphics.  I could be working with the companies who make these games and give them far better graphics.  Just take a look at the artwork I've got on this website.  I think I've come to the stage where I've something to offer to the games industry.
